The book i've recently read is The Story Of Rangers Football Club.It began 130 years ago , four friends - brothers Moses and Pter McNeil, Peter Campbell and William McBeath decided to start a football team.Moses suggested Rangers to be the name as he had heard a rugby team called that. So they had a name......but not a ground or a strip or a ball. The first home game was played at Glasgow Green, not far from where Celtic Park now stands.Rangers drew there first match 0-0 against a team called Callandar FC.Rangers had found there proper kit by their second match....the famous light blue they wear today. This proved well as they beat Clyde 11-0.In 1889 William Wilton.William was strict he wanted his players to dress smartly. A tradition that remains strong today. In 1920 William died in a boating accident. The legend Bill Struth took over. Bill became the most succesful manager in Rangers history. He was in charge for 34 years and signed many good players, the best was Alan Morton from Queens Park in 1920.He was a left winger.More recent tales include the little general.....Dick Advocatt. This meant a new start for Rangers in 1998. With the financial backing of chairman David Murray, he could make big signings like the 3.5 million signing of barcalona midfielder Giovanni Van Bronckhorst and Advocaats first signing from PSV Eindhovan Left Back Arthur Numan and Andrei Kanchelskis from Russia. He alson brought in Ronald De Boar and Frank De Boar and Michael Mols for 4 million from Ajax. He won the treble and money took over scottish football. Now manager Walter Smith in 2010 is heading towards 2 league titles in a row and Rangers are still the most succesful club in the world

The book i have recently read is called Underwater Killers it is about The oceans , seas, and rivers of this planet teem with animals that kill in order to live. Many underwater predators are more mysterious and more feared than those that live on land. Sharks cause most people to shiver . But what about killer wales , octopuses, crocodiles, piranhas, and jellyfish? Or stonefish, electric eels , and snapping turtles? Elegant or ugly, fast or slow, all of these animals are marvelously adapted to the places where they live and to the prey they seek

I recently read an encyclopaedia about the football club Arsenal FC, the club are from the north side of London but have not always been there. The book was a good read for me as I am an Arsenal fan. It was the 2008 edition and it had a foreword from the manager Arsene Wenger. I would recommend this book to all Arsenal fans, as it gives a good insight into the club's history.

I have recently read the book from the Horrible Histories sequel called Horrible Histories The Vile Victorians. It is mostly about Queen Victoria and how she would rein and mourn for over 40 years after her husband Albert died and how successfully avoided 8 attempts
to assassinate her.It also tells you how the Queen was like when she was little. For example she had friend called Jane and she said to Jane I may call you Jane but you cannot call me Victoria and she wouldn't share her toys with anyone else. Also when she appeared in public she woudn't wear a crown she would wear a black dress and a widows black hat (only when she would appear in public, and that was not often).Off of Victoria now and it tells you that the Victorians invented the first motorcar and the first telephone but that was no use until a second phone was made. Also a chap called Henry Besemer invented Molten steel.

A great read and a very funny book

I have just finished the book "lake river monsters and other crazy animals" by Mitchell Clark. It explains how the horrible creatures live and survive in the murky rivers of the Amazon and other rivers in the south americas. One of the river animals is the gouge catfish which can grow to an astounding 6 metres in length. This animal feeds on the corpses of dead humans which have been set to rest in the river or lake.Another is a massive tuna called Paribas cangulas which feeds on small fish. The biggest has been recorded a massive 2 metres.

This book will give lots of facts about animals that will have never of heard of and it is very interesting at the same time.
