Level 1 - Keith Gray

Keith Gray was born in 1972 the north of England. Although he began writing stories while at school he left without any qualifications. He worked as a truck driver for a while but continued to write. His first published novel, Creepers, came out in 1996 when he was only 24. Since then he has written lots of gritty books about young people.

The Library has most of his books including Malarky, Warehouse, The Fearful, and The Runner.

The book i have recently read is The Chain by Keith Gray. It is about a boy called Cal wh wants to be in a gang but he doesnt relise what to do. Cal get a test but he doesnt know the answers so he cheats of his freind Luk. When Cal looks in his house window and he thinks he see`s his teacher Mr Webster. I liked this book because it tells you dont go into a gang

i have read a book called hostage by malorie blackman i liked this book but it was very short and i don't think that it is for the teenage stage it is a bit babyish for me but you might like it if you are younger becouse it is about age 8 or so and it only took me about 30 minuits to read so that is how short it is i enjoyed this book but it is too short for my age
