Level 1 - Philip Pullman

Philip Pullman was born in 1946 in Norwich. After studying English at university he began a career in teaching. His first book was published in 1982, then he went on to write the series of Victorian detective novels featuring Sally Lockhart. His most famous books are His Dark Materials trilogy, which has won many awards.

The Library has most of his books!

A book i have read was THE AMBER SPYGLASS by Phillip Pullman. The book was about 2 characters who is trying to save their friend Roger from the north pole. Will the owner of the subtle knife is trying to give it back to lord Asriel. Half way through their journey they find snow bears. If you like big books this is the one for you
